Hum de dum...

Thanks to a couple more doses of Morphine Cooper slept most of the day. Each time he'd wake up he was really uncomfortable (the chest tube is bothering him). Finally about 6 he woke up feeling much better...even smiled a couple of times.

Then he drank some apple juice and threw up all over his arterial line. We cleaned him up and are waiting for his anti-nausea medicine to kick in before trying a few bites of grilled cheese.

He's still having regular arrhythmia's that his electrician in Phoenix warned me about. Not unusual after surgery and not related to his former rhythm problem. So far no one's worried about it and they say it's normal.

Still on track to have the arterial line removed tomorrow and hopefully the chest tube.

Took a long walk around campus today and washed some clothes in the family room. Fun, fun, fun!
He's not in the picture taking mood so I've included a couple of pictures Lisa took of the girls yesterday.

Poor baby :( Glad that he's improving every day. It's tough to watch the little ones go through this, even though it's saving their lives. I remember all this from when Hayley had her brain tumor when she was just 2. Thinking of you every day and sending prayers your way. Tell Cooper 'Hi' from all of us!
